The grocer is opening two Boston grocery stores, and plans to expand across Canada, its chief executive officer said Tuesday.

Trader Joe, the fourth largest grocery chain in the U.S., is opening a second store in Toronto’s Chinatown, the company said.

The company said it expects to expand its footprint to 25 Canadian cities by the end of the year, including in Winnipeg, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
